Business Problems We Solve

Where extrusion plants lose control — and the module that addresses each.

Not every factory has all of these. Most growing extrusion businesses recognise several.

Disconnected spreadsheets and software

→ One connected record

An order, its production, its quality results and its invoice are one linked record — entered once, carried forward.

Limited billet-to-finished-product traceability

→ Billet & metal traceability

Follow a received billet lot through extrusion and finishing to the bundle that was dispatched.

Hard to reconcile metal input, output, scrap and remelt

→ Costing & metal reconciliation

Input, good output, scrap, remnant and remelt recorded against the same production order, so the metal balance can be checked.

Weak visibility into press productivity and downtime

→ Production & extrusion operations

Shift-wise entries against each press show planned versus actual output and where time was lost.

Uncontrolled die usage, maintenance and revisions

→ Die & tooling management

Every die has a master record, a usage and life history, and a maintenance trail.

Separate records for extrusion, anodising, coating, machining and job work

→ Finishing & subcontracting

In-house and outsourced finishing sit in the same flow, with quantity and weight reconciled on return.

Delays in quality inspection and release

→ Quality management

Inspection checkpoints sit inside the production flow, with holds, rejections and rework recorded where they happen.

Difficult actual-cost calculation per kg, metre or piece

→ Costing & metal reconciliation

Section- and profile-wise cost sheets built from actual material and processing data.

Manual coordination between production, stores, dispatch and finance

→ Inventory, dispatch & finance

Stock movements, dispatch documents and accounting entries follow from the same transactions.

Limited real-time visibility of orders and delivery commitments

→ Analytics & management visibility

Pending orders, production progress and dispatch status in one management view.

End-to-End Workflow

How an order moves from inquiry to financial reporting.

Each step works on data created upstream: a quotation becomes the sales order, the order drives production, and production feeds quality, finishing, packing, dispatch and accounts. The label under each step shows what happens to the record there. Process routes differ by factory. Not every plant anodises, coats or outsources.

Branches that real plants handle every day

Rejected material

from Quality Inspection

Rejections are recorded against the production order and either sent for rework or written to scrap. They are not hidden in the good-output figure.

Rework

from Quality Inspection

Reworked quantities return to inspection before release, so first-pass and reworked output stay distinguishable.

Scrap & remelt

from Extrusion Production

Butt-end, front-end and process scrap and remnants are tracked by weight and can be returned to stock for remelt, with the effect on billet costing.

Outsourced finishing

from Finishing / Job Work

Material sent to an outside anodiser or coater goes on a job-work challan. Quantity and weight received back are reconciled against what was sent.

Business Benefits

What a connected extrusion ERP changes in practice.

Order-to-dispatch visibility

See where every order stands, from confirmation through production, finishing and packing to invoice.

Material traceability

Link finished bundles back to the billet lots and production runs they came from.

Production and metal reconciliation

Compare metal in against good output, scrap and remnant for each production order.

Control over dies and tooling

Usage, life and maintenance history for every die, in one place.

Consistent quality records

Inspection results recorded at defined checkpoints, not in separate registers.

Visibility into actual production cost

Costs built from recorded material and processing data rather than estimates alone.

Less duplicate data entry

Information entered once and carried forward from order to invoice.

Better coordination between departments

Sales, production, stores, quality, dispatch and finance work from the same record.

More reliable management reporting

Reports drawn from transactions, not end-of-month spreadsheet consolidation.

Frequently Asked Questions

About CXSuite Aluminium Extrusion ERP.

What is an aluminium extrusion ERP?

An aluminium extrusion ERP is enterprise software that connects the operations specific to extrusion manufacturing — profile and die masters, billet inventory, press production, quality inspection, anodising and powder coating, metal reconciliation, packing, dispatch and invoicing — with sales, purchase and finance in one system. CXSuite Aluminium Extrusion ERP is Fistreet Systems' industry solution for this, built on the CXSuite ERP platform.

Which processes can CXSuite Aluminium Extrusion ERP manage?

Inquiry and quotation, sales orders, profile and die management, billet procurement and inspection, production planning and shift-wise extrusion entries, quality inspection, in-house and outsourced finishing, inventory, costing and metal reconciliation, packing, delivery challans, GST invoicing and financial reporting. The feature catalogue on this page marks each capability as core, configured per factory, or scoped on request.

Can it track billets by heat or lot number?

Yes. Billet inventory is tracked by alloy, dimensions, weight and grade, with traceability from received material to finished bundles. Heat, lot or batch numbering is configured during implementation to match how your suppliers identify material.

Can it manage dies and tooling?

Yes. Die master records, usage and life tracking, maintenance and repair history, and die-wise output reporting are part of the core scope. Die location, ownership, compatible presses and revision history are configured per factory. Die trial and approval workflows are scoped on request.

Can it track extrusion production by shift and job card?

Yes. Production orders and job cards are created from sales orders, and production is recorded shift-wise against each press, with quantities, rejects, scrap and rework. Downtime reason codes and process parameters are configured to your plant. CXSuite does not currently offer live PLC or SCADA press monitoring; that is on the roadmap and not part of the current offering.

Can it manage anodising and powder coating?

Yes. Both in-house and outsourced anodising and powder coating are supported, including job-work challans and reconciliation of quantity and weight sent versus received. Process routes are configurable, because not every manufacturer runs the same finishing operations.

Can it calculate cost per kg, metre or piece?

Alloy-wise material costing, section- and profile-wise cost sheets, and margin visibility are core. Cost per kg, metre or piece, and the allocation of conversion, finishing, labour and overhead costs, depend on the costing model agreed with your finance team during implementation.

Can it track scrap and metal reconciliation?

Yes. Metal input, good output, scrap, remnant and remelt are recorded against production, so the metal balance can be reconciled and the effect of scrap on billet costing can be seen.

Can it support QC holds, reinspection and non-conformance?

Yes. QC hold and release, non-conformance reports, rejection recording, rework and reinspection are part of the quality scope. Formal CAPA workflows and photo evidence attachments are scoped on request.

Can it manage packing lists, delivery challans and invoices?

Yes. Packing lists, delivery challans and GST sales invoices are produced from dispatch, and posted to accounts. E-way bill details can be captured on dispatch documents. Direct integration with government e-invoice or e-way bill portals is confirmed for your setup during scoping, not assumed.

Can workflows and attributes be configured for our factory?

Yes. Product hierarchy and attributes, process routes, inspection checkpoints, approvals and document fields are configured to how your plant works, rather than forcing one fixed extrusion process on every customer.

Can existing product, supplier and customer data be migrated?

Yes. Migration of product and profile masters, dies, suppliers, customers and opening stock is planned as part of implementation. The approach depends on the quality and format of your current data.
