Our Methodology

Engagement Model

A structured, seven-phase transformation methodology — built to deliver enterprise outcomes without organisational disruption. Each phase has defined purpose, deliverables, and success criteria before the next begins.

Why Methodology Matters

SOP-driven implementation. Not demo-driven sales.

Most ERP implementations fail not because of technology — but because of methodology. Organisations are sold software before their processes are documented, before their teams are prepared, and before the architecture has been validated against real operational requirements.

Fistreet's engagement model inverts this sequence. We design the operation first. We build the technology second. Every phase produces documented outputs that the next phase builds upon. The result is a 3-to-9 month enterprise deployment that delivers measurable operational improvement — not just software installation.

Seven Phases. One Transformation.

Each phase gates the next.

Nothing moves forward without completed deliverables and client sign-off.

Discovery & Assessment

Understand operations before recommending technology. Our consultants conduct structured interviews and on-site walkthroughs across all operational domains — mapping the current state against transformation objectives. Purpose: establish a documented baseline of the current operational state and define scope for all subsequent phases.

Deliverables
  • Operational gap analysis report
  • Current-state process documentation
  • Digital maturity assessment
  • Transformation opportunity register
Duration
2 – 4 weeks
Gate Condition
Discovery Report signed off by client leadership before Phase 2 begins.
02

SOP Design

Create standardised operational workflows before configuring the system. Every critical business process is designed, documented, reviewed with operational stakeholders, and approved. Purpose: ensure the technology codifies the correct, improved process — not a replica of existing inefficiencies.

Deliverables
  • SOP library for all primary workflows
  • To-be process maps (swim lane)
  • Role and responsibility matrix (RACI)
  • Configuration specification document
Duration
3 – 6 weeks
Gate Condition
All SOPs reviewed and approved by department heads before Phase 3.
03

System Architecture

Design the complete enterprise solution architecture — modules, integrations, data flows, reporting layers, and factory connections — before a single system setting is changed. Architecture decisions made here prevent costly rework in Phase 4.

Deliverables
  • Module selection and integration map
  • Data architecture and master data plan
  • Integration specifications
  • Reporting and analytics architecture
Duration
2 – 4 weeks
Gate Condition
Architecture document reviewed by technical and operations leads before Phase 4.
04

Build & Configuration

Configure modules according to the SOP specifications and architecture blueprint. Master data is migrated, integrations are built, reports are configured, and workflows are automated — strictly against the approved design.

Deliverables
  • Configured system with master data
  • Built and tested integrations
  • Configuration documentation
  • User acceptance test (UAT) scripts
Duration
6 – 12 weeks
Gate Condition
Configuration review completed and UAT environment signed off before Phase 5.
05

Testing & Review

Validate processes and business scenarios against the configured system — by the operational teams who will use it. UAT is run against real business scenarios from the SOP library, not artificial test cases.

Deliverables
  • UAT completion report with issue log
  • Parallel run reconciliation sign-off
  • Resolved defect register
  • Go-live readiness checklist
Duration
3 – 4 weeks
Gate Condition
Go-live readiness checklist signed by business owner and Fistreet lead before Phase 6.
06

Execution & Go-Live

Deploy with controlled organisational change. Go-live is executed with Fistreet consultants on-site during the critical stabilisation period — monitoring transactions, resolving issues in real time, and coaching operational teams.

Deliverables
  • Controlled go-live execution
  • Hypercare support (first 2 weeks live)
  • Issue resolution log
  • Stabilisation sign-off report
Duration
2 – 4 weeks
Gate Condition
Stabilisation period complete, operations running independently before Phase 7 begins.
07

Optimisation

Continuous improvement and operational excellence. After stabilisation, the engagement shifts to a structured optimisation cadence — reviewing system utilisation, identifying adoption gaps, expanding automation, and evolving the system as the business grows.

Deliverables
  • Quarterly performance review
  • Adoption and utilisation report
  • Module expansion recommendations
  • Technology evolution roadmap
Duration
Ongoing (3-month reviews)
Gate Condition
Annual engagement with quarterly optimisation reviews and on-demand support.
